With older homes built before 1975, the cast iron drain systems are failing at an alarming rate because they have reached their maximum life expectancy. The process to inspect a sewer drain line is done in a noninvasive manner and usually can be completed within an hour or less. While traveling through the drain line, the camera transmits full color video footage back to the technician who sees everything on a monitor in real time while it’s recording. It’s better to have the sewer lines inspected before you experience any of the “red flag” signs written below. Here are the following definitive “red flags” that a problem may exist.
